Prequel Details

Airing this fall will be a two hour prequel, which will lead fans directly into the upcoming seventh season. It will cover two years between the end of season six, and the beginning of season seven.

To further fill “24’s” gap this year, Coto says a two-hour “prequel” TV movie is expected to air this fall, which will bring Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer to Africa and “lead directly into the events of Season Seven.”

“He’s a soul in turmoil and has been moving from place to place trying to find somewhere he can be at peace,” Coto says. “But he winds up in Africa in the middle of a military coup.”

Meanwhile, Bauer is subpoenaed to appear before the Senate hearing while in Africa, but doesn’t want to go.

“He’s not running away from anything,” Coto says. “It’s because they’ve taken everything from him, but they won’t let them take his freedom.”

Season 7 Details

CTU has been dismantled, thus the setting moves to Washington D.C. where Jack Bauer is under investigation for crimes against humanity. Whilst in D.C., an FBI Agent (Renee Walker) brings him in to help deal with a series of possible terrorist attacks, which are believed to be led by presumed dead, former CTU Agent Tony Almeida.

How is it that Tony is alive? Why is he doing this? All part of the mystery that is season seven!

FBI Agent Janis Gold and a team of FBI Agents (Larry Moss, Renee Walker & Sean Hillinger) will all be tasked to investigate Jack Bauer and other ex-CTU personnel.

One of the many storylines revolves around the death of the First Son, Roger, whose death was originally classified as a suicide. His father, Henry, believes that it was in fact murder and wants to prove it. Henry will also have heart problems.

Olivia Taylor, 20 year old daughter of the President and First Gentleman has a strained relationship with her mother, and is trying to make business with a pharmaceutical company.

The bad guys are from an African country that may be called Sangala. Whilst visiting Washington D.C., the former Prime Minister of an African nation and his wife will be victims of a kidnapping attempt.

Chloe O’Brien has a 1 year old kid, and a wedding ring. Morris is taking care of the baby.

An Ohio Plant Manager, John Brunner, will try to prevent a potentially deadly catastrophe from happening.
